Class Evaluation

1)What I enjoyed about the class is that there were many projects and assignments to improve ourselves and our computer skills. I was able to improve my typing and computer programming skills. I also liked that we learned things about how to be an excellent ctr person in the world and how we can always improve from that.

2)The things I did not like about the class is that we did not get enough practice with different types of computer programming.

3)My recommendations for this class is to make it even more fun and educational than it already is if that is possible.

4)I try to read my life planning goals journal everyday for at least 5 minutes and when i can not i make up for it the next day by adding more goals and accomplishing more.

5)I am committed to being a ctr person 24/7 because it is important to be a ctr person in this world. If nobody was a ctr person then the world would be harsh and difficult.  The ctr people are the ones that change this world and affect it positively.

6)From this class I learned how to be a really good ctr person and be able to use those qualities for anything that I want to accomplish. I can also use those qualities and skills to make myself a better person and teach these skills to other people so they can learn how to be an excellent ctr person.

7)What i will always remember about the class is the students and the teacher and how they all helped me learn and improve on skills that needed improving.

The Psychology of Winning

Denis Waitly

Quality 1: Positive Self-Expectancy
"Life is a fulfilling prophecy. True winners go into every event expecting to win."

The definition of self expectancy is related to the word self esteem which means to believe in yourself and having a very high level of confidence. Without this level of confidence in yourself you will not be able to accomplish anything you would like to accomplish because you won't have the motivation to accomplish your goals in the future. There are many ways your self expectancy level can be changed by others but most importantly yourself. Others are able to bring your confidence down by calling you names and making you feel insecure. You can bring down your confidence by listening to what people say around you. Other can bring up your confidence level by encouraging you and motivating you in different ways. However, you can bring up your confidence level by just believing in yourself and telling yourself that you can do anything.

Quality 2:Positive Self-Motivation
"True winners dig deep and find motivation inside themselves to get through that tough task or to learn a new skill."

Motivation is the key to accomplishing your goals. Without motivation people won't be able to accomplish what they want in life. Motivation gets people through the hard times in life. The definition of motivation is the reason or reasons people do something. Motivation can come in different forms around you whether you are motivated by someone else or a event that happened in your life.

Quality 3:Positive Self Image
"True winners are confident and view themselves as competent, valuable human beings."

Quality 4: Positive Self Direction
"You gotta have direction if you are going to go anywhere. The true winners know where they are going. Their sense of direction comes from the self and not from outside influences like parents or friends."

In order to know what you want to be in life you need to have self direction and control who and what you want to become in the future. Without self direction there would be no clue as to where you would go. The only person that will be hurt and confused is yourself. Once you lose self motivation you lose yourself and who you are as a person. Everyone in their lives has to able to have the discipline to tell themselves where to go and for what reason it is the better choice to go one way than to go through the others.

Quality 5: Positive Self-Control
Total winners can sacrifice immediate pleasure for a gain in the future. Delayed gratification is of immense value in reaching your goal.

Quality 6: Positive Self Discipline
You have to discipline yourself or else someone else will discipline you into doing what they want you to do. Total winners have the power to discipline and take control of their lives.

Quality 7: Positive Self Esteem
Your mood and outlook on life affect the way you see the world and how you interact in it. Total winners are positive, powerful people who make people feel good and provide a good vibe to those around him/her.

Everyone is influenced by others and their self esteem. Their self esteem also affects the persons self esteem. People who have a high self esteem can accomplish anything with high confidence. When somebody has high confidence they tend to do things that they might not ever do in their lives without confidence. When somebody has a lot of self esteem it might change them as a person in a negative way. That person can become too confident and change their personality negatively and others will probably begin to dislike the person. People who get too confident begin to develop arrogance which will make people ignore and dislike them.

Quality 8: Positive Self-Dimension
Total winners like in the present. They know that now all there is. They do not get caught up in the past or worry about the future. They simply handle the business that they can handle which is the stuff going on today, now.

Quality 9:Positive Self Awareness
Total winners are aware of their power. They understand that they can be anything with enough effort and determination.

Self awareness is important because in order to get by in life you need to be aware with what is going around you and be aware of what is happening and what happened and what could happen in the future. Once you have achieved self awareness you have achieved being able to know what you can do to affect other people or things around you using your self awareness skill. Once you are self aware you know who you are and what your character is and from there you can improve and exceed in becoming a very good person.

Quality 10: Positive Action
Total winners take positive action in their business and with their friends and family. They are uplifting and motivating individuals who inspire the best from themselves and other people in the world.

10 Keys to Personal Power

Key #1:Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do."

In our lives we need to have a plan what our futures are going to look like whether we are rich or poor that is up to us. However, in order to get to our goal and to where we want to be we need to be focused and have a clear vision to your goal. Having that clear line of sight towards your goal is what is going to help you achieve the goal that you have set for yourself.Image result for clarity

Key #2:Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."

We have to work hard in order to get the things that we need in our lives. When we work hard to get the things we need we get better at doing it in the future. If we commit to working our absolute hardest and commit to excellence then we will have a lot of opportunities coming our way for us to take advantage of. The definition of competence is the ability to do something successfully and efficiently. Which means in order to be completely successfully in our lives we need to be able to do things efficiently and successfully to do it right. "If you think you can do it, that is confidence; if you do it, that is competence."
Image result for competence

Key #3:Concentration
"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself "Is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything."

To me concentration is a very important key in doing anything you want. Without concentrating on what you are doing there is no possible way that you will do it accurately and efficiently. Concentrating is what makes that outcome of whatever it is that you are doing the best work you can do. The definition of concentration is the action or power of focusing one's attention or mental effort. Which means when you focus you put in the very best of your attention and mental effort whether its a sport, at home, in a video game, in your homework or even in sleeping if what you really want to do is sleep.

Key #4:Common Sense
  • Train your mind
  • Think things through
  • Listen to your institution
  • Learn from setbacks
During my childhood sometimes i would do something wrong and people would tell me that it's common sense. As a kid i did not know what that meant until i read the definition. The definition for common sense is having a good sense and sound judgement in practical matters. Meaning having common sense is having a good sense when doing things. We have to train our minds to have good sense and to think things through whenever we have a problem. Also, we need to follow the instructions that have been given to us to complete something. Whenever we have a setback or a mistake we need to learn from it. I had a teacher in middle school who always told me that mistakes and failures are good as long as you learn from it and i have applied that into my life ever since and it has helped me greatly.

Key #5: Creativity

"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions."

People who are creative usually are the best type of people because they can be creative when doing different things like cooking, studying, doing hw, or even doing sports. You can be creative in sports by making your own tricks and moves. The people who ask questions tend to be the people who ask the most questions about things which is good because they are eager to learn and discover different things that they did not know about.

Key #6:Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."

"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking etc."

"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 days, you'll be the best educated person in history."

The definition of consideration is careful thought, typically over a period of time. When we consider something whether it be bad or good we must think about it a lot. If you want to be successful then you have to think about how you are going to become successful. You have to think about it over a period of time because your idea will not come just like that you need to think about it more in depth. When considering something bad like not doing your homework or ditching school you need to think about the consequences that will come if you do those things. Think about how you will be in trouble for ditching school or not being able to do fun things with your friends because you did not do your homework.

Key #7:Consistency
"Dependable, steady predicable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."

"Be consistent in your relationships, your friends, your family, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you'll do something you will do it."

Being consistent is the key in our lives in order to be really good in like  sports, school, work, or in relationships with your family and friends. The definition of consistency is conformity in the application of something, typically that which is necessary for the sake of logic, accuracy, or fairness. Consistency means practice and practice means that you will achieve greatness in what you put your mind to. With consistency you can accomplish many things that you desire.

Key #8:Commitment
"No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basics of achieving all success."

"Be totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."

Commitment is one of the things that helps you accomplish your goal and your dream. If you are not able to commit to your goal or your dream then you can just forget about it because without commitment there is no way that you can be successful in your life. The definition of commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc. meaning you can not be successful without being committed. For example, if your goal is to graduate high school then you have to commit to that goal and work hard to being successful in accomplishing your goal. If you do not stay committed to that goal then you will not graduate high school.

Key #9:Courage:
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."

In life the only thing that can stop you is you and the only reason that you'll stop yourself from succeeding is because of your fear. Fear can control from the youngest child to the oldest adult because fear is what drives people away from succeeding. The definition of courage is to do things that frightens others. Meaning when you have courage you do the things that other people are afraid of doing. The difference between having courage and not having courage is people who have courage are able to succeed to what they put their mind to and people who do not have courage have fear driving them away from being able to succeed.

Key #10:Confidence:
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again."

Confidence to me is one of the most important things that you can have when you want to do almost anything in life. With confidence you can do anything you put your mind to without hesitation. When you do not have confidence you will most likely not be efficient or effective on the things that you do in your life. For example, when you play a sport and you have a game but you are really nervous about playing and have no confidence you will not be able to succeed while playing. However, if you do play with confidence then you will play way more effectively and efficiently than if you were to play a sport without confidence.

Reflection
These past few days writing about the 10 keys to personal power has taught me the great ways there are to succeeding and prospering in life and without these 10 keys there would not be anything that exists called success. Without these 10 keys people would not know what the word successful means because what i learned was that if you have all of these 10 keys and apply it to your life then you will be successful.
